The name Echinoid is derived from the Greek word ‘Echin’ (spiny). Echinoids, even today, can be found as both fossils and in the oceans. Beautifully transformed into wearable cufflinks these particular Echinoids are from the Eocene age (between 33.9 and 56 million years ago) and were found in Mexico. Set within subtle claws, the signature Tateossian case frames the stone, with the cut-out back revealing the beauty from all angles. Rhodium plated sterling silver.
